Our Garden

I have to take more photos because after these were taken, we have had a few days of rain and everything has grown....but here is what we have..

These is the strawberry plant. I haven't had any berries yet, but the plant is getting big.


The first row is what Big Shawn likes to call leaf lettuce. To me its like Romaine. The row is spinach....which looks a but sickly.The itty bitty plants spread out far are peppers and the row bunched together are carrots. The top plant up against the fence is pumpkin....which we did not intend to plant/grow. When we knew we were planting here, we threw our old Halloween pumpkin here as well as other food items to compost the soil some. Now we have pumpkins growing....we had to relocate some of them too.And Big Shawn's pride and joy. The corn. They are not real high yet. But hopefully soon!
This is our first year planting anything. Last year we had some cantalope and watermelon, but we planted them so late that they never produced anything. However, now we have either cantalope or watermelon growing on the side of the shed, which is where we had them last year.
