Goodbye 2010

As I am sitting here pondering what 2011 brings…I though I should go back and take a look at 2010 to see what can be changed, what will change, and what we have accomplished.

2009 was a really bad year for us. After lay offs and almost loosing our house and struggling with bills on less income….…we are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  2010 has been a slow traveling incline with a few downhill turns along the way but we have made.  But I am proud of how far we have come.

I am really proud of him.

He has worked so very hard for this family and I am happy to see that it is finally paying off. He has found his job. The job he has been working for…….for years to get. A job in doing what he loves to do.  A state job…with benefits…and a pension….and more importantly…….

MORE MONEY THAN HE IS MAKING NOW!

He could not be happier. I could not be happier.

He was suppose to start his job on Jan 3 2011, but his future boss called him and asked if he could start early…like Dec 20th. And so he did.

So in 2010 I:

took 4,408 photos

completed 113 scrapbook layouts

made 66 cards

knitted 34 items.

read 104 books

watched Logan play soccer for the first time.

watched Logan play football for the first time.

watch Shawn play football for the 3rd year.

watch Shawn play basketball for the first time.
