Wicked Nights with a Proper Lady

Lord Leo Harrow, Earl of Barrington, is a regular subject of the local scandal rags, The Mayfair Chronicles. He and his friends are considered by society, pleasure seekers, too rich to be left out of society and too risky for the young to befriend.

Genevieve Camden, also known as Genny is the poor relation that must depend on her family for her support.  She is living with her Uncle Lord Ponsley, fulfilling two roles. As companion for his Mother and as chaperon for his beautiful daughter Charlotte.  Charlotte is unofficially spoken for and in her first season.  However her father has already chosen a husband for Charlotte, Mr. Warren.

When his recently widowed friend, Lady Jezebel otherwise known as Countess Fallon, devise a plan to break off the soon to be announced marriage of Mr. Warren, the great nephew, and sole successor of her late husband's fortune, he and Tristan agree to the task of wooing Charlotte.  Leo is stunned to find that Charlotte is the cousin to someone from his past, Genny.

Genny noticed Leo as soon as he and his friends step into the ballroom. Their past was one full of passion and the heartbreak of Leo walking away from her. Its been four years since they last saw each other.  Genny is warned by her Uncle that she is expected keep a close eye on Charlotte, and to act without a hint of impropriety or get involved in anything scandalous.

Leo just can't leave Genny alone. There has always been something about her that has kept her on his mind. Realizing that he should have never walked away from her four years ago, and he doesn't intend on walking away this time.

Tiffany Clare writes a great novel which allows the reader to be pulled in and completely immersed into the story plot.  Her characters are well liked and easy to fall in love with.
