It is official.....he is now registered for Pre-School. *sigh* It was a little bittersweet. He is excited. I am excited that he is excited. But there is still a part of me that is still wanting to hold on to his toddlerness. {is that even a word?!?} I am sure every mom goes through it. The real test will be when he takes his first school bus ride.......... Aug 25th. He goes for screening June 16th.
This one here couldn't seem to give me a "serious" face to save his life. He is becoming more self conscious of him self....he now used deodorant everyday. *giggle* He has also been wearing cologne. He is my artist one...the problem solver...and the analysist....even if it gets on my nerves. Hubby laughs...I know I am the same way. He has officially dismissed that all girls are gross and actually likes one in his class....Miranda. She is the skinnest, tallest, most plain looking girl in the class with the longest hair. What he likes most about her... she has freckles just like him. LOL!
We take walks and fish a lot. Most of the time, Shawn goes without the kids and me. For his time of solitude. Last Sunday we all went. We found a lake near Cape May Point. It is a good walk to get back to it, but it is quiet and no one else is around.....just the way we like it.

There were turtles chasing our bait and the boys got to get their feet wet in the water. Afterwards, we took them down to Higbees Beach. Shawn wanted to check out the saltwater fishing off the jetty. So the boys and I took to the beach.
Logan was funny....he kept running back up to the shore each time he got in too deep yelling... OOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooo! Shawn kept trying to test the depth of the water. He got to about his waist before he came back in. I think if we ever get a chance to go to the beach....we may just come back here. No too many people and not a 10 mile hike to the water.
Afterwards we went to me mom and dad's for dinner...our normal Sunday. The kids played in the pool while we sat around the table and chatted.
On the way home we caught this sunset.
Off to soccer practice!
