We have our first pumpkin started. In this photo it is about the size of a cantalope. Right now it is the size of a honeydew melon. There are a few others started too.
We have a bunch of corn starting too. None of it is ready to be picked off yet.
But we have a total of 24 ears that are growing.
And to get an idea of how tall they are, I had Logan stand next to them…..and yes he is still wearing his jammies. The photo was taken about 8am.
To out suprise, everything is growing really well! We have already come to the realization that we will need more space next year. And also to be more careful as to where we put our rotten Halloween pumpkins.
You can see in this photo just how much room the pumpkin are taking up!
We still haven’t had any carrots come out yet. The last one I checked was only about 1/2 inch long. But there is another pumpkin plant at the end of these in the far left of the photo. The spinach didn’t do as well as we would have liked. The peppers are getting bigger and the lettuce we have been eating for able a month now.

It's a good thing you live so far away or I'd steal your pumpkins! LOL! Your garden looks fabulous, Sherri! :)
