Although this is the third book of the series, I was able to follow along with it. It gave just enough back story provided so that you are not left clueless as to what has already happened.
I also liked that the main character of the book is male....a teenage boy. With most of the Young Adult books having a female character, its nice to be able to finally see a male main character.
